Oven Roasted Chickpeas

These chickpeas make a great healthy snack. They are crispy, savory, and yummy.

Ingredients

1 can of chickpeas 1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 tablespoon of chili powder

teaspoon of lemon or lime juice

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon of turmeric

4 drops of hot sauce

Instructions

Preheat the oven on bake to 425 degrees.

Open, strain, and rinse the can of chickpeas.

In a bowl mix the chickpeas, olive oil, salt, lemon juice, and hot sauce in a bowl.

Pour the mixture on to a baking sheet preferably lined with aluminum foil.

Bake for 25 minutes or until crispy and golden.

Pour the roasted chickpeas into another bowl and mix in the chili powder, garlic, and turmeric.

Serve hot or cold.
